Rainfall In Albuquerque

Rainfall In Albuquerque

Official July rainfall in Albuquerque so far 1.03 Inches (Average is 0.59) but I doubt we’ve had this much at our home.  Albuquerque is spread out so it could be raining in one area of the Duke City and sunny and dry in the another.

We will take every drop we can get and be thankful for it.  At least the Rio Grande which has been dry is once again flowing.  Without doubt we are welcoming the Monsoon season!

Good Monring John and Debbie,  It is raining here with a lite or heavy shower every day for the last week.  Hope you get more rain at your home.

Good morning John! The Northeast is getting pounded by rain this week. Have a great day!

Posted by Suzanne De Vita, Online Associate Editor (RISMedia) almost 6 years ago

John it is so crazy when thinking how much is falling here as to how littel falls there. We got an inch last night in a half hour. In the last day 3 to 5 inches of rain has fallen over NH. It is like someone dumped a bucket on us and there is no bottom to the bucket. The storms are moving out today though and back to summer for the weekend and Jimmy Buffett concert time.

John, That's good to hear. So many cities around the country are suffering from drought like conditions.

Hi John - We're definitely in the monsoon here, with rain every afternoon for the last week or so, with more on the way, and like you, we need it. I hope you get buckets.

We have had our share of rainfall over the last few days, but a lot more that one inch. Enjoy the weather no matter what.

Thank you for commenting on my post.

Ditto about every drop. The state is talking about fines for too much water usage. It is so bad here:

California water regulators voted Tuesday to approve fines up to $500 a day for residents who waste water on lawns, landscaping and car washing, as a report showed that consumption throughout the state has actually risen amid the worst drought in nearly four decades.

cheers cvc

Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.  And, if you ever need more, let me know.  We have enough for 10,000+ lakes! And the might Mississippi!

John: I would be happy to send you some of the rain we have received in the past month or so. It seems to rain every couple of days!

It has been drizzling all morning, and a few sprinkles, and I don't think we have even gotten an 1/8 of an inch.  It has been three cloudy days thus far, I would love some rain. A

Good evening friends.

I had to update you with the awesome news that we are getting pounded with rain at this time!  In fact Rio Rancho and Albuquerque NM is under a Flash Flood Warning!  According to radar we have one storm after another headed our way through the next several hours.

We could not be happier and feeling blessed ......... Finally a good soaking rain.  Thanking God for a good drink that this ole desert has been in such dire need of.

Hope you have enjoyed a productive and good day in and out of real estate.  If you need rain I hope you get it and if you're getting too much I hope it slows and heads to those in need.

I hope you will receive your needed rainfall. We had a couple of stormy days in Maryland.

John & Debbie, I think that was a surprise for me the first time I visited Albuquerque was the fact that the Rio Grande went through the city and how small/dry it could be at that point.  Glad you're getting the rain you need!

Hi Debbie and John --- I was so excited when there was just a bit of drizzle on my windshield the other day --- Alas, it had disappeared within moments.  We have severe drought conditions in California.

Good morning Debbie and John, we had one of those "tease" rains push through here the other day. Lots of noise - little rain.

John & Debbie, wish you could have enjoyed some of this rain we have had for the last week.   I think they said Saturday we had 2.5 inches in less than an hour!

John, indeed we are welcoming the monsoons. And you are right, when they say "isolated" showers, they mean it. Yesterday it was raining in my backyard and NOT raining in my front yard. No kidding!

John, we were just hit with a lot of rain over the last couple of days with more forecast later in the week.  Sometimes we go for quite a while without rain and then when it hits all at once we have to be concerned with flash floods...I imagine you go through the same thing.

Looks like we are about to get some needed rain as well today in Richmond VA.

Side note: recently helped clients from your area find a home here. It was interesting to hear how differently things are done from state to state. They used a lender from New Mexico Bank and it was a fabulous experience! Just had to share as I thought of YOU when they talked about the hot balloon festival!
