John- You are the only agent in Albuquerque I'd refer my clients too! You could also be a professional photographer! Gorgeous picture.
Hi John - great picture - you must have an awesome camera! Regards Dave
Not easy to get a great butterfly picture, kudos and thanks for sharing.
Good morning, John - I concur with the comments already posted -- you've captured this image of the butterfly so perfectly. What's your camera of choice as Dave first asked?
Very cool picture John. You always have some of the most interesting stuff on your blog. I really enjoy reading it.
That's a pretty little butterfly molesting the flowers, John! Our butterflies have all but disappeared for the year.
Gorgeous shot of a beautiful butterfly. looks like this one posed for you.
I agree that this is a beautiful picture, definitely worth a wordless wednesday picture.
John,
I really appreciate the angle you got in this shot. It is really beautiful and artistic. You have a great eye for composition. I love Myrl's comment. She is quite a lady. A
Hi John - Not much left in the butterfly department here, as the snow approaches rapidly from the west. But we do have over 400 ducks on the lake right now - they'll probably head out of here tonight just before the storm arrives and should be in your neighborhood in a couple of days.
John,
Great Color! Who would your wife say is the better photographer? ... you or she?
John
I saw this photo and immediately thought of the old Ali line, "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" Strange how the mind works, cheers cvc
Is that one of those monarch butterflies heading south John?
We were actually on a lake in Alabama when we spotted two of these beauties juicing up on the flowers. Debbie had camera in hand and got some great shots. We never know who takes what .... I think she gives me more of the glory than she should but who's counting :) Glad you guys are enjoying this Wordless Wednesday.
John,
Great piocture my friend and I know my camera cannot take a picture like that and not even close. Another good ad for your services.
Wow...what a beautiful photo John! Both you and Debbie have a wonderful photo eye.
Hi John, glad someone had camera in hand for this shot! That is one gorgeous butterfly, thanks for sharing on Wordless Wednesday:)
That is an incredible photo. You must have used a telephoto lens to get that close.
Good afternoon John.
I love this photo.
Beautiful shapes and colors.
Thank you.
John that is a stunning photo - love what you did with it!
Tammie .... This butterfly was so busy enjoying the sweet nectar Debbie walked right up to it and began snapping shots. She got several outstanding ones of this same butterfly as it filled it's tank :)
Camera Deb used to get this shot was Panasonic / Lumix DMC - FZ28 / 18 Optical Zoom
Each of you are so appreciated and hope you're having a great Fall day.
John my man, You captured a real beauty with your camera lens. How did you get him to stay still long enough to get his picture?
Nice photo! Definately not an i-phone photo!
Excellent photograph, John. It is fun to capture the images of butterflies.
Enjoy the colors of autumn with your camera in hand.
Chihuly Exhibit, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
