The Leap of Faith!
While touring through Chattanooga Tennessee today we came across this beautiful sculpture that reminded me that sometimes in life you really do just need to take The Leap of Faith! I too often get caught up in the drive of gaining more business, acquiring more clients and earning more money which are all worthy goals but sometimes we all need to realize that a gentle leap of faith can alleviate a lot of stress that comes from that incessant drive. Will faith alone reach our goals? Not likely but without faith why leap at all.

John That is a beautiful sculpture an what a lovely name! Without Faith what do we have??
A beautiful sculpture and positioned so wonderfully at the edge. I like the gentle leaps of faith, rather then the evil twin, taking a flying f#@)
BEAUTIFUL NOTION!
That is a most impressive sculpture in so many ways. From an artistic sense it has interesting lines. From a structural perspective, that's a lot of weight loading at a severe angle with minimum contact at the bse
That may be the coolest stautue ever John!
We all take a leap of faith in some way. If we are leaping, why not really leap! The greater the leap the greater our faith.
Good evening John-now that is a great statue and how cool that you just happened upon it-I think that there is a lesson in there about exploring the unknown-call that faith or call that guts, you got both!
That's an amazing sculpture created for the perfect spot! From the vantage point in the last photo, it seems to be defying gravity!
What a great Sunny day for this perfection capture, make a successful weekend John!
That is pretty much life for any entreprenuer. Everyday seems like a leap of faith eh???
Peace brotha man
I love the pic... John! The sculpture beautifully illustrates 'A Leap of Faith' and your post is a nice reminder that there's more to life than the daily grind of making money. Blessings this day my friend ;)
Great piece of art.
John, being at the edge of most things and letting it go is a leap of faith...what a great analogy as well as sculpture
Howdy John-just stopped by to say hello and now must put in my 2 cents on the photo. That leap of faith didn't work out so well for Icarus but I believe if you believe strong enough on what you set your mind at then the leap is worth it. Would we have become independent brokers if that wasn't true? oh btw...TGIF!!
Hi John. A leap of faith won't help you succeed but it will help you enter the real estate business.
Good morning John,
What an awesome sculpture and the name fits perfectly! I love your photograph and the message there is more to life than the normal every day work load:).
Very cool sculpture John. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
John, great thought to start the day! Enjoy yours!
That is a really unique and wonderful piece of art. I love how you took the time to relate it to life and our business.
Good morning John. What an amazing sculpture. How lucky you were to come across it. Your words are equally moving. Enjoy the day.
John.. I love the sculpture... Traveling is so much fun when we see new and interesting things!
John, Very true words, my friend, very true.
John: Life is what we make of it...we all need to take leaps of faith from time to time.
Faith is the glue that holds everything together. Without out one can get lost. Have a great Friday John.
Cool statue. I think that guy was in foe a rude awakening though...lol. I like the one in the Albuquerque airport. Not sure what the name of it is, but I see it every time i fly out there to visit my grandkids.
John - love the sculpture - I thought you were going to say you bought it and are bringing it home! Regards Dave
Gorgeous statue. Any second now, I'm going to take that leap of faith and dive in head first.
John- What a gorgeous statue! I hope you're enjoying your vacation!
Thanks, John, for sharing your photographs. I love the theme.
Have a great day and an outstanding weekend.
Hi John -- glad to hear you are enjoying some "down time". While a leap of faith alone will not guarantee success when combined with other traits can certainly help along the way to achieving what you want.
John - What a lovely sculpture. It makes you just want to spread your wings, take a deep breathe and "go for it". Thanks for sharing. Oh, and now I have that song rolling around in my head... "Pardon me boys, is this the Chattanooga choo choo?"...
Hi John, beautiful sculpture. I think everyday we spread out our wings to a degree. If we didn't life would be very boring and monotonous. Thank you for sharing and reminding us all to take a leap of faith.
Good Morning, John. What a nice looking sculpture, and it does make me think about "Taking that Leap of Faith", which we all do at various times in our life's journey. Have a Wonderful and Safe Trip!
Hey Q-man and (woman) :) This is a lovely photo and sentiment. Without a leap of faith from time to time, we'd be pretty robotic beings. Hope you have a wonderful, leaping Friday.
John Those are lovely photos and I thoroughly agree with your thesis
John,
Very interesting pictures with a thought provoking blog. You do write many of your blogs in a way that makes people think about deeper subjects.
I hope you folks are having a good time on your vacation.
John, this is a great post! I do believe faith is the basis for anything we do, without faith in something, why even do it? Love the sculpture!
Nice post, John. And a great statue. I don't remember seeing that when we went there.
John~ "I am next"....leap away as much as possible...Nice!
John - Tennessee is one of the few states I really haven't been to, so I'm enjoying your trip and the photos and sights you are sharing. Have a great time!
John,
What a gorgeous and amazing shot, and I love your message. Ron and I are constantly leaping, it is what keeps you young and alive. Have a great weekend!
John: I cannot believe this is not a Feature. Suggested, just in case the star fairies missed it. Imagine having that in your backyard! It would be a daily inspiration.
This art work along with many others are located at the River Gallery Sculpture Garden. It runs along the Tennessee River and is free to the public. It's an amazing and beautiful area to enjoy. I understand many weddings take place here. It's easy to understand why this would be the case.
Happy Friday John.
Those are great shots.
I hope that you are having a great time.
Greetings John, I am glad that I stopped by to visit your blog. Its a great day when I happen upon a nice piece of art, and it was so nice of you to share your find with us.
Thank you, have a great weekend!
Holy cow! 50 comments on a stature.. you're amazing, John! It is a beautiful piece and makes my stomache almost irk a little to think of falling. It evokes something interesting!
HI John~
HEY!!! You are near us!Are you? Asheville is only a little way from you if you are in TN. Are you heading this way? OH! Please do Go ahead--take a leap of faith and see our beautiful town. I'd love to meet ya'll.
John, this isn amazing sculpture! It really looks like this guy is in mid-air! So what happened to his bathing suit?
Hi John,
Maybe you’re speaking to me directly, because I've been pondering for a bit about taking a big leap of faith lately. It's difficult sometimes to keep stepping when we can't see every step, but I guess that's the role faith plays. Have a fabulous weekend!
Don't we take a leap of faith almost every day? Tough world out there..... And love this sculpture too.
Great statue, like the difference perspectives from the pictures,I agree that th symbolism the picture represents brings a different meaning to all of us.
John,
I don't think it was an accident that you and your wife took a leap of faith and ended up, right there, on that spot.
Follow your heart. Follow your passion and quit living up to everyone else's dreams. You and your wife love each other so much. Take that leap together.
John
Hope you are having a great time and thanks for sharing this with all of us here, cheers cvc
Special New Mexico Passion Flower just for you.....
John-I think I made it on the 3rd page of your comments. Congratulations, well done. Thanks for sharing the photo and the timeless message.
