There’s just something very unique about having breakfast on the patio or taking a morning walk while balloons silently float above. We quietly wave to the balloonist as they wave back and float on in search of the perfect landing spot. We have taken a private flight before and I must say there is nothing like it. If you ever get a chance to fly.... I hope you go for it.

Hi John,
I am seeing more in the air as the weather cools......
OMG what a beautiful morning wonder John. Whenever I see one I think of Around the World in Eighty Days and that is exactly what I would like to be doing now with my first stop the beautiful New Mexico sky-have a wonderful day.
Good morning John,
It is on my bucket list and am looking forward to it.
Make yourself a great day.
John, I would just love to ride in a beautiful balloon...up, up and away. I can't think of anything more thrilling than gliding through the air watching the scenery. I wonder how quiet the gas thing is.
Hi John...
I love to photograph these colorful giants too. Here, there are a lot fewer places to land so it would be quite the adventure!
John: They are a sight to see and I have heard they are fun to ride in but there is no chance I am going up...my feet are staying firmly on the ground. ;-)
Wow! Now that would be a sight to see in my neighborhood John. Thanks for the photo.
This is always a wonderful sight. Great picture, John. Have a wonderful day.
John- I grew up on a small farm and they used to land out behind our house. There's something so peaceful about them, our horses would stand and watch in awe too. Happy Friday!
I love to watch balloons float by serenely barely making any noise at all. We got to go for a ride on one in 2002 in Durango during Snowdown 2002! What a cool experience that was! I highly recommend it if you get a chance!
What a beautiful sight! My friend just took a hot air ballon ride. I don't have the desire to do it but love seeing the colors from the ground.
John, one of my sons wants to do it but he's already tried skydiving ...i'm sure it is a thrill but i like the ground too!
John,
First of all, I am very sorry to hear that your sister lost a battle with Breast Cancer and that your mother-in-law is fighting this disease right now. Thanks for the comment on my blog about the Katy hospital hosting an Breast Education session.Let us all pray that researchers will find a cure.
I always have wanted to try the balloons and Albuquerque from what I understand is the capital for hot air balloons.
Hi John - great picture - really hope it ended well!! Will add this to my bucket list. Regards Dave
Hi John - Nice view! A few houses ago, we were adjacent to a very popular landing field for local balloons, so we frequently saw sights like that. For some reason, our Lab Guido hated the balloons, and used to bark at them as long as he could see them, and then grumble about them for hours afterward, frequently checking to make sure they were gone.
Way cool, I love it Q Man!
The "Mess"
JOHN what an amazing phot, I would love to be able to come to see the big balloon fest one day.
How cool is that, except the basket looks like it is going to hit a roof, then it would not be so cool for those inside the basket. I trust it is just an illusion!
I've been wanting to do the hot air balloon thing for quite some time now. Awesome shot, John!
Hi John -- I'll look at this magnificent balloons from the ground, thanks very much -- no flight for me! Nicely captured photo.
John,
Really nice photo and it is something I have always wanted to do. Maybe when we get into your neck of the woods, we will have to stop and have lunch there in the sky. Way cool John!
They have a balloon festival nearby and once in a while you will look up and see hundreds (probably 20) balloons of all colors floating by up in the sky. It is a sight to behold.
Hi John, As exciting it may seem to take a ride on one of those balloons in Albuquerque I had to pass the last time I was there for bowling National Tournaments. However, I did ride the Tram up the mountain side.
John,
We are seeing more balloons around here. You do the the best though!
Love seeing those big balloons. Come to mention it, I've never been on one. We don't see many of them around here, but east towards the foothills, especially a few places in Issaquah we'll see hang gliders.
Good afternoon John.
Now, this is a site we don't see in New York.
Have a nice weekend.
John,
That's a sight for sore eyes! I would give anything to take a Hot Air Balloon Ride. We have balloon launches here too, but I've never seen them get off the ground because we didn't have the right weather conditions.
I know NM is famous for this - lucky you!
Wow! they were close! It's on our bucket list of things to do! Must have been awesome!
John, WOW was that baloon close to your house....??? hope not. Great photo capture.
John,
We always enjoyed seeing the balloons when we lived in Napa, and even enjoyed when one did an emergency landing in our field. Keep enjoying those grandkids. A
John, I've enjoyed watching them, but have decided that if it has zero glide ratio then I'm not going up in it! I used to have a private pilot's license with a glider certification (sailplane)...I'm sure you know that's a regular airplane, but without an engine. I have no problem with that...loved being in the air with no motor...just haven't warmed up to the idea of a balloon yet.
John, this looks like it just landed in a neighbor's back yard! Great shot.
That does sound like a wonderful way to start the day, John. Nice photo to.
Thanks for sharing your photograph. I would be watching for a RE/MAX balloon.
Have an outstanding weekend and be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the special moments.
Another great photo. This would be great in marketing...something like "taking you higher in your real estate needs" LOL! I am afraid of flying, so I don't know that I would be able to experience this. However, I do fly b/c I don't want to miss out on life, so I woudn't rule it out that I may someday gives this a try!
John,
One thing someone should always say to a bama supporter is ROLL TIDE>> Have fun with grand kids..
John, those Albq balloons are just gorgeous, and would be fantastic to see one early over the morning coffee.
John, that is so cool. I can't imagine!!!! One of these days I hope I get to ride in a hot air balloon!
Great picture, John! And just look at that crystal-clear blue New Mexico sky!
Great picture, we usually see the balloons all alone up in there air, this one behind the house is a great perspective.
This is something that I have ALWAYS wanted to do. My hubby is not crazy about the idea. I guess I will have to do it with my boy friend instead. ROGER! Will you go up in a hot air balloon with me some day?!
Wow, That is really something. How cool to be sitting on your back porch and watching balloons float by. We had the opportunity to see Air Force One fly over our house last week but didnt have a chance to snap a picture.
John~ that's awesome, I am so glad you shared this in AR...I have yet to make it up on a in the air with hot air.....You just inspired me to make it happen.....Thanks!
John,
This is another outstanding, colorful image from your area. Thanks. :)
