Yum.  I could use some of that over some cheesy scrambled eggs about now.  Sounds delicious.

Salsa recipe looks great John-dying to make it once I move back home (maybe by October 6) and have a kitchen to cook in.

John- There's nothing like homemade salsa! I'm going to try your recipe, love how simple it is.

John - Thanks for the recipe.  No longer will I be reaching for the jarred salsa in the grocery store!  This looks delicious!

John, I may have to try this recipe tonight.  It sounds delicious!  Lime juice makes salsa more interesting than lemon juice, in my opinion.

John, Thanks for sharing this recipe with us, I could eat homemade salsa all by itself!!

John - Great recipe!  We love fresh salsa and we often add fresh mango, pineapple, or peaches, it just depends on what fruits are in season to give us a gourmet salsa.  Here's to chips and salsa!

Hey John,  Not sure where a grocery store is near to our friends we are staying with, I would make a batch right now, guess it will wait till I am back home.

Oh, man, that looks good.  Now, I need some Mexican for dinner.  And, if I ask nicely, maybe Chief Cook will give these a whirl.  I know we have all the ingredients.  Thanks!

John  That recipe works for me, but Arthur would spice it up with Tapatio  :)

John, A few weeks ago I was considering making salsa, but didn't have a recipe.  I froze stewed tomatoes instead.  I will use them to make soup or stew during the fall & winter.  I will keep your recipe for next year.  Thanks.

Now I just need some tortilla chips and a good movie and I'm all set!  This sounds delish!

Posted by Kerrie La Guardia (ActiveRain, Community Manager) 8 months ago

Yum, I saw this on Facebook and liked it there --- and, I'm still liking it --- a lot! I agree with Kerrie - torilla chips, a good movie - oh, and maybe an icy cold margarita. ;) It's Monday? Darn...no margarita for me.

John~ I like quick and easy! Thanks for sharing.  I had a Pampered Chef party about 10 days ago and we made homemade salsa.  I haven't tried that recipe for myself (yet) but it was tasty and easy too!  Once I've made it myself, I'll be sharing my recipe too!

Posted by Donna Foerster, Metro Denver Real Estate Agent (Rocky Mountain Real Estate Advisors) 8 months ago

I agree, all we need is a big bag of tortilla chips, a comfortable seat and I'm all set for a good time.
