Drive Through Flu Shots
Albuquerque UNM Health Sciences Center is offering FREE flu shot clinic for immunization against the seasonal flu again this year. These flu shot are FREE and will be given to those over the age of 6 months of age. Some clinics are even drive through. For more details please call 505. 272.3679 / 311 or email LFrank@salud.unm.edu
Following are the times and locations of the HSC’s public flu clinics:
- Saturday, Sept. 29 Drive Through
UNM Northeast Heights Clinic, 7801 Academy Blvd. NE, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
- Wednesday, Oct. 3
UNM CDD, 2300 Menaul NE, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 6
Family Practice Westside Clinic, 4808 McMahon Blvd NE, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 20
UNM University Area Clinic, 1209 University Blvd, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Saturday, Oct. 27
UNM CFL Haunted House Flu Clinic, 4700 Jefferson NE, suite 100
Lobo Care/Senior Health Clinic, 1101 Medical Arts Ave NE, Bldg 4, Suite A
- Saturday, Nov. 10

Hi John -- great public service for those who want/need to get a flu shoot this season.
I've never had a flu shot in my life Q Man and have never had a bad case of the flu either...........knock wood! Free or not, I doubt I'll be having one.
Great reminder John about flu season and bringing the dates and times for all to visit at one of the clinics for free...
John had a flu shot about 30 years ago. It was the only year I got the flu. Go figure! Guess I am going to keep my streak going! Enjoy your day!

Debbie and I got our Flu shots a couple weeks ago. These DRIVE THUR Flu Shot events can't get any easier or quicker. Pull up, sign your name, stick your arm out the window and off you go with the rest of you day.
The Flu Shot needles have always been small but this year we were told they are even smaller. Neither one of use even knew when we got our shots and our arms were not sore.
You remind me to get this done. It's funny, my husband won't get one. He swears he gets the flu if he gets the shot. (Shaking my head). I normally pay $20 for mine, and it's worth it.. But, must admit free is pretty cool.

A drive thru for the flu shot...what a concept. Now I would take advantage of that.

Excellent localism post as all of us should get a flu shot and free is my favorite price. I ned to figure when and where I will get my own flu shot.

Just got mine yesterday at the free clinic there held here in Yountville. Ouch cvc
John, i hate needles but if i could have one of those banana splits that you and deb have afterwards I'm sure i'd feel better!
I agree a great reminder about flu season, nobody wants to get the flu and this type of event is just what you need to prevent it from happening.
