Fall Colors In Albuquerque NM
While the trees are still green one can certainly find plenty of Fall color in Albuquerque NM. The colorful Mums and the red chile ristras make an eye catching Fall combination. The scene at this local Nursery was just too beautiful not to stop and enjoy.

Thanks for including the word "ristras". That would have bugged me all day! That is a really great photo, and, if we could, we would have a ristra in the kitchen. Unfortunately, it would go to mold before long in our climate.
Have a great week, John!
What a gorgeous display... and you've captured it so well in this shot! Can't visit New Mexico without going home with a ristra or two!
Gretchen
You're not kidding, John ... what a beautiful display indeed! Hard to believe it's Fall color season already. I think I need one of those red chile ristras :)
John: If I could only get my backyard to look like that! What a beautiful display of colors.
John,
Thanks for sharing the enjoyable moment with us.I love the hanging chile ristras, it so New Mexico. Happy Tuesday, A
Nice photo John... I enjoyed the chile ristras at our Renton Farmers Market the last 2 weeks. Love the shapes and colors... the arches really set it off. I love hanging out at places like this.
Yep, looks pretty colorful to me Q Man................
John,
That is a great picture. Fall is definitely beautiful on your side of the world.
John, that is beautiful!
Thanks, John, for sharing your fall colors. Dolores would love to have some of those peppers for her cooking experiments.
That nursey has the right idea....it really is show stopping beautiful.
Great photo John. I am really looking forward to some fall weather.
Wow John, how very lovely indeed. That is gorgeous and just makes you feel good. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hi John, I agree that the nursery has it right with all the beautiful fall colors...enjoy the rest of the week!
Pretty cool shot, John. At first, I couldn't imagine what kind of red flower was long and skinny. Then I read the post and know I will recognize red chiles. Up north our stores only have small bin for red chillies and other varieties. Now we have garlic bulbs hangin like the red chillies.
Those red hot chili peppers definitely spice up the gorgeous autumn colors at the nursery - is there anything more beautiful than all the seasons of New Mexico? Enjoy the day John.
John, wow...that's really quite a display and splash of color...and it's a food stuff as well as decoration.
John,
Great picture and with really good fall colors of all sorts. It is still fairly hot here but we hope that will finally end. Take care ..
John - I knew I was in New Mexico by the hanging chilies. A classic John McCormack local photo - love it!!!
Mmmmm peppers, nice picture. Is this a greenhouse somewhere or a store?
John,
Great picture! You are correct to beautiful not to stop and enjoy! Have a great week!
John, Love those chilis. They are so vibrant and represent great Mexican food. Ok now I am hungry.
I'm sure Albuquerque is a beautiful place to live or visit this time of year, especially with the hot air balloon festival coming up.
John,
Wow, so beautiful! I love what they have done with the red peppers.
Jo
That is a gorgeous scene, John! I especially like those hanging chilis. I could do a lot of cooking damage with some of those:-)
CONGRATULATIONS on having this blog FEATURED in the Photos group!
Hi John, quite a variety of colors, anyone would be invited to stop and purchase an assortment
of flowers. Have a great day.
John, you sure have captured the glorious colors of fall, and with the chiles sure is beautiful.
Can you send me some of those red chile ristras? Please? LOL
Show and car stopper colours John! That's what we love about Fall!
Hey Everybody. Thanks for dropping by to help us enjoy this beautiful display of early fall in New Mexico. Those Chili Ristras are easily found but this display really showed them off so nicely. We appreciate each of you for sharing your comments and compliments. We really enjoy showing off the area sites and colors with all of you.
John, here too in RI we are still green as can be and what an amazing sunrise of lavender blues & pinks i saw this morning...my summer zinnias are still in full force but tomatoes are waning...love the chile strands and i have my own in my kitchen and they really never get moldy if they are organic and not sprayed...happy fall my friend!
GREAT picture, John. The ristras really do add color and a touch of class to the display. Happy Fall.
John this picture is a total winner, glad you shared with us. Now we would like you to feature the nursery on one of your Localism post so we could get more pictures! Loved the Chile Ristras BTW I did not know that is what they are called I always wondered...I knew it was not a wreath:)) Thanks for the education!
I must have missed this one, John. It's a beautiful photo and I love the composition.
Have an outstanding week and be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the special moments.
Love this photo Q. Miss the ristras and all the chile peppers in your state. I hope to visit in July or August, whenever the AHUWC reunion is next year, and I hope my family comes with me to see where I went to school in Montezuma. No matter, I'll be calling to look you up.
Hi John -- this nursery has the right idea to spark sales -- presentation truly can make a sale happen so much quicker...great use of color.
Those peppers can stay just where they are... Too hot for me! Burn my mouth if I even come close!
John,
You certainly did find some fall color to share with us. Quite nice. :)
Steve
John,
