Happy Hollyhocks
As Friday rolls around and it’s been a busy and stressful week for most of us. I thought some Happy Hollyhocks were in order. Hope you enjoy a blessed and productive day and weekend in all you do!
As for me I’ll be working with home buyers. Never fear, I will be as happy as the Hollyhocks as I help my buyers find their Albuquerque dream home.

John -Your Hollyhocks remind me of my childhood. I don't think I've seen one in years. They're beautiful!
Happy Hollyhocks to you. I love this old fashioned flower and they do make me smile. Mine are the cream color and they are such a lovely flower to enjoy. Thanks so much for sharing your photo.
Those ARE happy hollyhocks! Thanks for the Friday afternoon shot of color - great way to start the weekend. Hope yours is top-notch. :)
I love my hollyhocks and water and weed them all the time. They're so colorful and pretty and easy to care for.

Hi John,
Happy Hollyhocks to you this Friday! Have a great weekend.
Good Afternoon John, Very nice picture, those would look great in my yard. Have a great Friday
John~ The title of your blog caught my eye just because it sounded so cheery and I did not know hollyhocks were flowers. So not only did I enjoy a smile but gained a little bit of knowledge. A great weekend to you too!
John, Have a happy and productive weekend.
We love it! That's it August 17th is now officially Happy Hollyhocks Day! Heck, let's make it a Happy Hollyhocks Weekend!
Hollyhocks are some of Chief Cook's favorite flowers. I can't tell a credenza from a cactus...LOL!
John, Those are some really nice flowers for today! Very beautiful, have a great night!
Thank you for the warm thoughts...how did you know it was a stressful week? LOL.
It has been a stressful week, John! Sybil, my cat, died yesterday afternoon. She was 15 years old. And the family dog, who the cat loved, is in mourning. The dog only tolerated the cat in life, but he's really depressed now.
As for the Hollyhocks, they are gorgeous! They remind me of my mother's garden in summer. She always had geraniums, roses and hollyhocks. Your picture makes me want to grow some!
John, your hollyhocks are beautiful! Next year I'm going to plant some.
Hollyhocks are happy flowers! Thanks for the pic, and for the happy thoughts. I'll be spending much of the weekend preparing my new listing and hosting the first open house. Fun!
I had to tune in just to see what a Hollyhock was as my flower expertise consists of "Flower pretty, me like." Thanks for sharing. Hollyhocks pretty, me like.
So THAT's what a Hollyhock is. LOVELY! I wonder if they will grow in Texas?
John, The Hollyhocks do look happy and so very pretty. I hope you have a great weekend.
I hear ole Roy in the background saying it is catching LOL. I love flowers as well so thanks for sending them my way. Happy posting
If by stressful you mean busy, include me in the Happy Hollyhocks celebration John.
Enjoy this day!
Thanks for sharing your flowers.
Have a wonderful weekend with your camera in hand.
Good morning John. What a great picture od some beatiful flowers. I enjoy them here, I imagine you love them in person.
That is a day brightener for me, John, it is pouring and dark here right now. Thanks for the sunshine.
John, may the work product of your weekend produce an accepted contract for a happy seller and overjoyed buyer!
Hollyhocks is a fun word today. That's a stress reliever in itself!
