John, it is a great reminder especially for people that are getting those back to school purchases. Here in CT they have a full week, and it should also be soon

When the kids were little, I always kept track of tax free weeks. Just in time for school shopping, it's a great thing to have.

John, Our tax free limit on computers goes to $1500 so guess what I am getting tomorrow? Are you loving your Mac?

Q: Wonderful idea and concept. I think about it everytime I go to the store (budget in mind) how much it's going to cost. And dang, sales tax at very near to 10% here always hits me with a sting! Ouch!

John this weekend is the perfect time to purchase items that you normally want to wait on as well as helping the community bring in more dollars.

Hey neighbor, Arizona doesn't have a tax free day or weekend... heck I'd settle for an hour.  Guess I'll  have to visit the Q to take advantage of their tax-less hospitality!

John, I don't know your tax rate, but that should give others a chance to spend just a little more to help others.  What a great idea for Albuquerque a tax free weekend.

Hola Friends ~

Thank you for dropping by and leaving your comments on the Tax Free Weekend in Albuquerque.

According to our NM Governor this will save approximately $4 million this weekend alone.  This is huge and will certainly help the middle and lower income families get those much needed school supplies for the NM kids!

Hope you get out and take full advantage of a great weekend in your area.

Good Morning John, A tax free weekend is great for residents, here in NH we do not have a sales tax so it is strange for me to go to MA and be charged extra on the price of products you need.   Have a great Saturday
