Albuquerque Residential Trash Pick Up

Albuquerque Residential Trash Pick Up

The city of Albuquerque has rules in place for residential trash pick up.  They request everyone to please follow them and help keep Albuquerque beautiful.

Here is some important Information about your residential roll out cart which the City of Albuquerque provides.  Each cart is numbered and assigned to your home address.

The first lost of stolen cart will be replaced at no charge.  Each additional trash cart after that has a $48.67 fee per replacement.  We like others spray painted a marking on our trash cart in hopes of deterring theft.  (This is not a city suggestion or requirement)

Do not throw the following in your trash cart:

Good information to share with home owners, especially the new ones, in Albuquerque. You're doing your part to help keep Albuquerque beautiful.

Hi John! Albuquerque has set some good guidelines for trash pick-up! I always try to be mindful of the weight of the trash can...those guys work really hard, and if the can is too heavy, they can get hurt!

Posted by Rose King / Friendswood / Pearland Homes (UTR, Texas Realtors) 10 months ago

I think other areas probably have similar rules for their trash pickups.  I just never saw these in writing before but it would make sense that they apply in other places.  It's always nice to know the rules.

Hi John, a good anti-theft deterrent you have for your trash can.

I hope everyone  obeys the law and keep the city clean and beautiful.

Have a great day in all you do.

Hi John, very important info for new homeowners or for those who are doing construction and remodeling.  Here in Westchester only construction debris can go into a dumpster-a lot has to be recycled so that toxic materials do not poison our reservoirs.

An often overlooked topic, but very important nonetheless. Great job in doing your part in keeping the "Q" informed, clean, and beautiful, my friend.

Good Morning John, It is important to have  a set of rule sthat protect its residents, it is nice of you to publish as so many residents often do not know these easy rules.   Have a great Tuesday

It was nice of you to type up the rules and suggestions to help residents have a better experience with their trash service.

P.S. If your can goes missing, check out the local McDonald's. It looks like thier golden arches on your can!! :)))

Hi John, we don't have that type of pick-up here. Each subdivision or home owner contracts with a pick-up company. This is great info for your area.

BTW - thanks for the reblog ;)

Howdy and afternoon John

John my friendthis here sure is a mighty helpful blog post to help folks that are thinking about or will be moving to Albuquerque, to know about the Trash Pick Up there.

Folks in the Town which we live in, have to take their own Trash to what they call a Transfer Station.

Have a good one
