Looks like a really great event, John. Our parade is next Saturday and we always look forward to it. But we don't have trinket shopping going on. :(

John, we have our lighted Parade this evening. It is a much loved event and people make their reservation at their much loved restaurant along the tour route years in advance. Some have standing reservations. We won't be making it this year....we are still home getting well. Hope you make it to the festivites. Sounds wonderful. Have a wonderful evening!

I guess Saturday is pretty much a parade day everywhere?  Seems early to me but I am sure the merchants want to get everyone in the buying spirit as soon as possible.

It's that time of year again. The parade in Downtown Pleasanton was on Saturday December 3rd as well. I think these events are good as they help put us in the mindset of giving. The charities need our help this year, from food banks to shelters, to the humane society to foster children.

Hello all my friends and dedicated blogger in the Active Rain!  Thanks for each of you dropping by and sharing your comments, and Holiday cheer.  I really disappoint myself when I run out of time to respond appropriately to each of you but this string got away from me.  The Twinkle light parade was a hit, we got held in traffic trying to get to the event but were able to capture some of it.  We plan on heading to the River of Lights event soon and share some video of that experience.  See you all soon and thank you again! You're all just awesome!
