Well, I am finally going to bite the bullet, schedule the time on my calendar to learn wordpress through a workshop.I don't have time to learn by trial and error. I get very frustrated when things don't look the way thatI want them to or I can not figure out how to move a graphic or add a widget.I tried all the free tutorials that Wordpress offers at Wordpress.org. But I just did not get it. I learn better by having a coach, a mentor or a teacher. I really excel in classroom type settings.After a lot of searching and inquiring about different wordpress instructors I have decided to go with Christina. She teaches like I teach, she works like I work, we are like minded in many ways so this is a good fit. You get what you pay for and I believe after doing my due diligence that Christina is worth the price she charges for her classes. She teaches on line and off line classes. I will be taking her online workshop classes that start at the end of March.You can join me in class if you want to learn wordpress too. I have put this class off for two years because I did not have the time.We have wordpress VAs that are very good with Wordpress.However, I am one of those people that need to feel empowered to do it on my own when I want to. Perhaps in the middle of the night I might come up with an idea for a wordpress site and I want to be able to at least get the jest of it in place. Or maybe I want to go in to wordpress and change some things around and don't want to wait for someone else.Here is a free wordpress planning guide in PDF and Audio download that Christina put together. On that same page is a video of Christina's story. She has taught hundreds on non-techie people how to easily build their own websites with wordpress in her Website Creation Workshop.You can join me in class if you have been putting off learning wordpress too, I have put this class on hold for two years now because I did not have the time.
