Growing up in east Central Florida I saw all the manned moon rockets launch live. NOTHING like the sound of a Saturn V rocket booster to shake your sliding glass door. Later living in North Texas I saw the Space Shuttle in its orbital path at night fly over my house like a moving star. We even witnessed in the area the unfortunate breaking up of Columbia in the morning sky. Tragic. But it made me think of
The Art Of Fly By Loving
It is the momentary TOUCHING of people with our lives.
We can't hold on to people 24 hours a day. But in business post sales it could be a pop in visit with a gift, or an email, or a phone call or a text to let them know we still care.
In our personal lives, on Facebook, email, a tweet, also a phone call, or a barbeque get together -- for those BRIEF minutes or hours or even some days together on a get together of some sort, WOW, exchange all that love and kindness and joy you have inside with another. Make someone laugh. Make someone feel good inside about themselves. LISTEN to people. Console them. Be there for them. The principle with FLY BY LOVING goes something like this:
Let no one come in contact with you without leaving feeling much better about the experience.
Try fly by loving this week. It is magical.
