How I made 100K in Active Rain
You heard it correctly, I made 100K in Active Rain! 100K in points that is and it's time to celebrate! Now that I got your attention I want to take a moment to reflect and share on this milestone event. Keep in mind I started on my Active Rain journey in July of this year, I lurked around a little while scratching my brain wondering how I was going to delve into this new adventure. Like most I suppose I was a bit reluctant at first and felt I just didn't' have much to share.
On July 20, 2011 at 4:06pm I hit the submit button of my very first blog Top Five Things To Do In Albuquerque and wasn’t it just a peach :>) Hey, I got six comments and from some heavy hitters like Yates, D. James and some lady called Banana! So now 122 days later, 238 Posts, 4 Features and a few late nights I made my 100K in Active Rain! As a bonus I now sit in 3rd place for Albuquerque and #7 for the State of NM. Whew!
The best part of the journey is that I didn't do it by myself, I had the support and encouragement from a really awesome community of fellow Active Rain Bloggers (YOU)! None of this would have happened without the kudos, congrats, kind words and comments. I have learned an awful lot about blogging, marketing, SEO and all that jazz but the best part and unexpected part are the friends and associates I have made along the way!
My biggest advocate and supporter is my beautiful bride Debbie aka Claudia, I so appreciate her understanding and long hours as we work together to accomplish life's many goals. Her inspiration and contribution to real estate has and continues to be an amazing blessing.
Here are just a few of many individuals that have been with me from my first days in Active Rain. I wish to acknowledge and express my gratitude to. I would love to mention each of you but that will be a very long blog. You are all awesome in my book. Blog on!
