Making HD Videos

Are you recording your videos in High Definition? That's good, but, be aware, YouTube does not
automatically play back your videos in HD quality. The option to watch the video in
720pHD is up to the indivdual viewer.
Thanks to Craig Daniels, I've also recently discovered that the HD quality of my videos was being compromised during the upload process from iMovie11 using Quicktime Pro. There are several ways to check.
