Getting Back To Nature At Rocky Mountain National Park

Getting back to nature at the Rocky Mountain National Park was an experience neither my wife nor I will ever forget.  The fall colors were amazing, October 14,000-foot snow-caps intriguing, wild life abundant and the chilly nights perfect for sleeping.  We were fortunate enough to catch a herd of Elk at dusk grazing near a stream.  The huge bull didn’t appreciate the clicks of the camera and let out a deafening bugle call for his ladies to head back across the stream and he meant right then!  On a full moon night the screams of coyotes and wolves echoed with the kills of the night.  The Elk, Deer and Moose called for their mates as fall is mating season and the bugling was heard for miles.  Quite the experience of color, nature and us taking in Mother Nature at her finest at Rocky Mountain National Park.
