Sometimes to solve a problem needing creative thinking you need to
Find The Big Picture Whle Living In The Weeds.
You know, SEE the forest instead of the trees, see the mass of foxhounds and oh by the way I can see the fox in there too now. Think of Christopher Columbus if he had the photo of the Earth taken from the Moon, no one would doubt the earth was round. But mired in port enlisting sailors to venture forth on the flat earth sea, and FALL OFF, this was not easy.
There are two things you can do to readily get this clear big picture state to help solve problems:
- Ask another person who is not as close to the situation as you. You will be amazed almost instantly how their perception, their take on th big picture is much better than you.
- You step away with relaxation, and distance like another location to think or take a vacation or meditate. Just TIME away besides distance will freshen up your mind to see things how they really are.
This photo with the fox hiding out is quite fascinating. Why? Did you know sometimes the best place to hide something is right under someone's nose? WHY? They never suspect it can be that easy to find something. Everyone is making this big picture view harder than it really is. Ask another, or step away. YOU'LL see the fox.
