Earth Day In Albuquerque - Party With The Planet
When: Saturday, April 21,2012 - 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Where: Albuquerque's Aquarium, Botanic Garden, Tingley Beach and the Zoo
What can you do to protect the planet, and its animals and plants? Find out at the annual Earth Day Celebration, where hands-on activities and discovery stations will provide some answers. There will be talks and demonstrations as well, from sheep shearing to chalk art competition. Head to the BioPark for a day of Earth Day fun, and take the train between locations to keep down the carbon emissions.
