I have put Facebook to work for me! Now at closings not only do I make a point to get my clients and their family’s birthdays for my database I also ask them if they’re on Facebook. In today’s world nine times out of ten the answer is yes of course they’ve got a Facebook page. I then ask them if it’s okay if I send them a friend invitation, which is sent immediately. Not once have I been turned down.
What a simple and great way to stay in touch, staying in the loop of new babies, family situations, considering a relocation all which opens the door for me make a call or shoot them an email. Facebook actually works.
Facebook keeps it simple and non invasiv while keeping a great connection. Also it let’s my clients see me as a real person with a real life not just their Albuquerque Realtor. Now my real estate clients get a birthday card via the mail but also they get a special note first thing on their special day. This goes for their home anniversary and their children’s birthdays too. Even wedding anniversary’s are easy to keep up with via Facebook and with a few quick clicks my clients know they are thought of by yours truly. Nothing is quicker or simpler than a like on their post and a quick response on their blogs. The cool thing is I even get likes and input from my clients on my wall.
My goal is to keep in touch so that when someone says I’m thinking it’s time to find a good Realtor the first and only name to pop into my real estate clients mind is John McCormack his info is on Facebook!
