Christmas Photo Contest
Let’s celebrate CHRISTMAS! Since AR is not sponsoring this contest, I get to make the rules! Woo Hoo! This means it is going to be easy to do during the busy Christmas holiday season.... AND FUN!!
Get out your camera and lets spread some Christmas Cheer!You can write something to go along with the photo OR let the image speak for itself.
RULE #1: YOU must be the photographer. ONLY original work from the ActiveRain member allowed!
This is not about professional photography. The point is to spread some Christmas Cheer! Since we just spent a month being THANKFUL, we should be fully ready for this type of challenge!
The Christmas Photo Challenge contest begins on Friday, November 25, 2011 and ends at midnight - ActiveRain time- on Dec 12 (for the purposes of prizes only). You are encouraged to continue posting through the remainder of the year!
No additional points other than the normal ones that your posts earn... but there will be prizes!
♥ 1st Prize: Red Snowflake Scentsy Warmer and Scent ♥
♥ 2nd Prize: Ornament Scentsy Plug In and Scent♥
♥ 3rd Prize: Holly Scentsy Plug In and Scent ♥
Please post your entries into the Christmas Photo Contest group and comment on a few others while you are there!
You can also tag your photo “Christmas Photo Contest” AND put them in the Active Rain Channel under “Christmas Photo Contest”!
If you write 50 words or more with your post, putting it in the Active Rain Channel will earn you an additional 25 points for a total of 225 points! (Up to 10 posts per week). Under 50 words and you will only get points based on comments.
If you miss a day... be of good Christmas cheer! You lose nothing and we look forward to your next post which will likely be twice as good!
EVERYONE, including ActiveRain employees, is welcome to enter!
On December 13th I will post a blog titled "Top 10 Favorite Christmas Cheer Photos - Pick Your Favorite!" and allow the ActiveRain community to vote on the prize winners. Voting will end December 15th at midnight. IF there is a tie, I will be the tie breaker! On December 16, the winners will be announced and prizes mailed out on the 17th -- Hopefully in time to arrive BEFORE Christmas!
