2011 Albuquerque Drought 2nd Dryest Since 1890
2011 has brought Albuquerque NM the second driest year to date. This according to the weather records that have been kept since 1890. Albuquerque average yearly rainfall averages 8 to 9 inches but as of October 24th 2011 Albuquerque has only received 3.50 inches. Albuquerque’s drought is expected to continue through the winter months and bring a warmer winter also. People of Albuquerque love our 310 plus days of sunshine but we could sure use some rain.
