November Changes In Albuquerque
The beautiful colors along the Rio Grande are quickly fading from a brilliant golden hue. As November winds blow in cooler temperatures the leaves on the old Cottonwood trees fade and begin their fall, leaving the ground covered in a carpet of golden color. The Salt Cedar growing along the rivers edge is changing from a darker golden color to a beautiful red which it will retain till spring. The many ducks, geese and cranes are now migrating to warmer climates. Soon the Sandia Mountain will wear a cap of white snow and the river will be silent in a deep winters sleep.
